That's not a problem, that's just Six being a devious game master and trying to incite a riot back when we had those Con/Bake-currist threads.
4  The Milk Bar / The Igloo: Off Topic Discussions / Re: Another Computer Question on: March 24, 2013, 10:12:38 AM
Thx all.

Another question...  I bought a couple of "smart" phones yesterday.  I got the Droid Razrs.

My question is, am I still using my data from my Verizon data plan when I connect through my wifi here at home?  or at McDonalds or where ever I can get a free wifi signal.

If you're connected to a Wi-Fi network then you are not using your data. It's always a good idea to connect to one when you can, especially when downloading things (ie: if you need to download a few app updates, hop on a Wi-Fi network to save your data).
5  The Milk Bar / All that Intellectual Stuff / Re: Since Cyprus, some things you should understand about banks on: March 20, 2013, 03:06:12 PM
That $9 trillion may be a little off. I believe that the FDIC only insures up to $100,000 per person, per bank account. So if you have $10,000,000 (not a crazy amount for some people to have), then you'd have to spread that over 100 bank accounts in order for all of it to be ensured; and I doubt that everyone does that.

Then again, I could be completely wrong, and I didn't read the entire post (only read the DfD's cliff version).

The Master was definitely the weirdest movie I saw in 2012.

I think I'm in love with Amy Adams.

Remember the scene with all of the women in the living room?

jk, more like

12  The Milk Bar / The Igloo: Off Topic Discussions / Re: QUESTION Windows 8 Pro Upgrade on: February 08, 2013, 09:09:44 PM
Yes, you can UPGRADE from Windows Vista to Windows 8 without buying Windows 7.
13  The Milk Bar / The Igloo: Off Topic Discussions / Re: QUESTION Windows 8 Pro Upgrade on: February 08, 2013, 12:42:34 PM
I'm not really sure what you're asking, but for $14.99 your operating system will be upgraded to Windows 8 Pro. You will be able to keep personal files, but not programs. The download and install of the update shouldn't take long at all (mine only took about 25 mins).
14  The Milk Bar / The Igloo: Off Topic Discussions / Re: QUESTION Windows 8 Pro Upgrade on: February 07, 2013, 11:40:45 PM
Yes. You'll be able to upgrade and transfer all of your personal files, but not your programs. You'll also have the option to transfer nothing and do a "clean sweep" of your computer, which is what I chose to do.
15  The Milk Bar / The Igloo: Off Topic Discussions / Re: Windows 8 on: February 01, 2013, 11:35:38 AM
Good choice; I did the same thing. I saw your FB post about it and idk why your friends would need the start button back to find programs - all you have to do is use the search feature that lets you look at all your apps (programs) in one spot. It's pretty neat.

We definitely needed two threads to discuss this in.

No.1 They wanted it to go down because they thought they were getting 8

I guess we're using a loose interpretation of the word 'funny'
18  The Milk Bar / The Igloo: Off Topic Discussions / Re: Forum Down on: January 26, 2013, 04:42:30 PM
I got ripped off. I bought 2 weeks of internet and have the recipt on email. 1 day later i have no access. I buy it again and now i have 2 recipts for 2 weeks with the same user name and password. How can someone elses username not be available but mine is.

How is that possible?. Sick of getting ripped off and having to sort out issues that arnt even mine. So once again i have paid double when i cant afford it cause someone else fkd up in life.

Must be related to the omnicurrers.

Have you ever considered calling the company and sorting it out? That would probably be a better idea than repurchasing it.

It should also be noted that on February 1st all your current VIP points will disappear, so make sure to spend them before then.
20  The Milk Bar / The Igloo: Off Topic Discussions / Re: Random person omnicurs ITT on: January 23, 2013, 12:13:32 AM

I am thinking of making my first youtube video. I have a built in webcam on my laptop. Was thinking of something easy to start ad get used to it so will probaby upload a couple of farts first. People seem to love farts on youtube. One single fart has 13.5 million hits.

Farts are taking over the interwebz.

You should add some fire, a match or blow torch.

You should also dowse yourself in gasoline.

Offer ends Jan 31. I am considering it.

Do it. Are you running Windows Vista or 7?

24  The Milk Bar / The Igloo: Off Topic Discussions / Windows 8 on: January 19, 2013, 01:00:34 AM
Anyone else using this yet? MS has a promotion running right now where you can upgrade to Windows 8 for $39.99, so I tried it out and I love it so far.
25  The Milk Bar / The Igloo: Off Topic Discussions / Re: @ omnicurrists on: January 19, 2013, 12:59:04 AM
It was just a trap my fellow omnicurrist. Seeing if omnicurrist founder JBaker would take the bait and "agree" or more importantly "omnicur".

It was just a trap twospd. Fk the omnicurrists!!

That was quite obvious. You'll have to do much better than that.
