If we think he's 3 betting pre with QQ+ then it becomes pretty close because over pairs are obviously the hands we beat. His hand is really weighted to sets, 2 pairs and pairs + OESD. Against 67s - 9Ts plus 66-TT we're 40% and need 43% to call. If we can add JJ to his range, we're 46% and it's a call. Adding QQ and KK make it a much easier call.

In game I'm calling.

He raised first UTG, and hero 3bet.  So we'd need to know his 4bet range, actually.

Sigh ... yes, I meant 4 bet. Sorry about that. It was late.

given the choices, I'd call.  The flop is also an excellent flop for him to represent something he doesn't have.  I would have liked to see another choice.

I'm willing to bet hero would have liked to see another choice also.  Dunno what the third option is after villain open shoves, though.

Call

A big pair looks imminent on this Rush table(maybe even A's like Hero). Most tables I play on starting hands are usually premium. Villain may have 10's with an open ended str8 draw. K's, Q's and J's are in a tough spot. If the player is LAG, there could be a set looming.  Shocked I am still gonna take my chances with Top Pair.

Being that it is rush poker don't you insta-call and hope for the best? So many people open shove atc, or shove flop with top pair no kicker hoping that you will fold and move on to the next hand....  since you have no time to learn a table and players styles I think with premium hand you just have to play hard and pray hard......
