Rakeback is something that you can sign-up for that will give you some of the rake that you pay to the site back. In most cases you have to create your account through the rakeback site to get it, but there are a few exceptions.

Rake Back, Rake is the fee's you pay to play poker, and Rake Back is exactly what it implies, you get a percentage of your rake fees returned to you.

I have rakeback and I get 27% of the rake I pay returned to me every Friday minus bonuses I was paid and some other restrictions.

You pay rake on hands in ring games if the pot becomes large enough and the extra fee you pay in SnG's and Tourney's is also rake ($2+.25 SnG for example, the .25 is the fee or the rake to play, the $2 goes to the prize pool).

Some places offer even better deals.  Before signing up at any poker room it is a good idea to find out if they offer rakeback and look into how getting it before you create an account.

You can get rakeback on an existing account if you are not signed up through an affiliate.  If you are already tied to an affiliate and not receiving rakeback you are SOL.  Do not attempt to open another account in order to get rakeback.

You can get rakeback on Full Tilt but not on PokerStars.  Those are the only two rooms I ever play at.  Other members can tell you about other rooms I imagine.

Rake back is basically as it sounds... the site you're playing at gives you back a percentage of the rake you pay at the table to get you to play there.  Most sites have this available at different percentages, but you almost always have to get it before you sign up.  Once they already have you, they feel no need to lure you in.

What sites do you play at?

RaketheRake is connected to most of them, and if you sign up through us, you get your Rake back AND we get 4% to help fund the fourum. Just click on the banner you find at the bottom of the following page:

and reply here/PM if you have any other questions.

I've been a bit stupid in my initial eagerness to get into the poker world and have opened up accounts with various sites.  Full Tilt, Poker Stars, 888, Boyle, Absolute poker, Blackbelt poker, Poker Heaven, WSOP, Party Poker, Bet Fred, Titan and PKR.  I am not a regular at most of there choosing to play on Full Tilt and Pokers Stars mainly.  I just wanted to find the right site for me.  Is it possible to link up through any of these existing site through you guys to get Rake Back and help you make monies in the process.  I have had a look at the Rake Back Nation.com site affiliated to your site through your store section to get a better understanding of how it all works. I haven't tried any out as of yet so if you casn point me in the right direction to help out both our needs then that would be great.  Keep up all the good work on this great site.  It has been alot of help already. Big shout out to the guys who have helped me along the way.  You know who you are.

Rakeback pros is the only site that I know where you can get rakeback after you sign-up and it's only for FullTilt.

Sign up to RaketheRake through us, and then follow their instructions for getting rake back with an existing account. Poker Stars don't do Rake back, and I'm not sure how much luck you'll have with Tilt, but it's worth a shot. And certainly try and get rakeback on all your other accounts through them.

jh1 is right about rakeback pros being a good choice for getting Full Tilt rake back if you don't have any joy with RaketheRake.

Good luck.
