Well ain't this great.   I was not around the computer from say 2pm yesterday until this morning and then I see this.   I try to log onto Prodigy and it says I do not exist.   umm umm umm

Why no word from any admin's?   I do not hold any thing against the forum here but atleast make an appearance.   lol

Really wish the forum page was not loading so slow, sigh.

Ok, now I have my jaw off the ground and am laughing again.   If I say anything out of line please forgive me.

I realize I am >12 hrs behind this news but if anyone has not read it on 2+2 you can go to the   MintedPoker / Minted Poker Official Support & Promotions Thread***

  http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/28/internet-poker/mintedpoker-minted-poker-official-support-promotions-thread-1038774/index532.html

If you start on pg #532 @ post 7,967 Minted Neil speaks about the "Ring Fence" that is spoken of in the Poker Fuse article.   This post is on 2-8-12 or Wed and is only about how/why the withdrawals are so slow.   I only mention this because up until the PF article I had never heard of a "ring fence"   Just as I had never heard of a "Photon Shuffler"   LOL

Imo it seems like this starts hitting 2+2 @   pg #533 post #7984   I show a time of this post being 11:23am on the 9th , however I am not 100% sure I have my "clock" set correctly @ 2+2.

I suppose we can all hold out hope that they are really just being shut down because of the DOJ and that we will be allowed to withdraw our cash the way PS allowed it.   I want my $55 bucks, lol.   Really sux's this happens when I was just getting the hang of playing vs the players there.   Wed I played 2 tables of 50nl at Merge.   Approx ~700 hands.   I feel as though my experience on Prodigy has been beneficial.

Speaking of Merge what's the over under on them pulling from the U.S. market?   You know the land of the FREE...........sigh

6)   We are activley working on a payout solution for the Feb. competition.

cliffs:
- ELG withdrawing from USA, France, Malta
- player to player transfers are prohibited
- withdrawals are capped at $2k euro/month
- inactive accounts will be charged and eventually closed

Standard response from these shootheads running the poker sites.

They will do anything they can to stop the withdrawals of money and will say 'your funds are safe' or some such bullshoot.

Normally, you can make player to player transfers whenever you like but here they'll tell you it's money laundering or some such BS when U.S. players try to transfer funds to non-US so they can get their hard earned cash out.  Of course at this stage I am thinking the 'rest of the world' will have a very difficult time as well getting their money out especially if it's a FT deja vu.

I really feel for all the players that are once again getting screwed over.

I just love that 'inactive accounts will be charged and eventually closed'.    Another 'loophole' for them to steal anything they can.

If you are a U.S. player and have money on any of the remaining sites open to you, get it out today.

Just some fyi if others have not taken the time to sort this out.   Reading 2+2 some said they could still log in and others claimned they could not.   I am one of the could not's.   Players that could log in say their USD BR had already been converted to Euro and that they had been "got" during the conversion.

As you can see in the SS's (if this post will post) my measly BR is still in USD.   Also I could not log in using the normal way in the client.   I always just left the remember PW clicked so it had been a long time since I manually logged in.   I am 100% sure I was using the correct username and PW but it would do nothing but say the PW or UN was wrong and that the attempt failed.

After several attempts and several times waiting the 5 minutes because of too many attempts I clicked forgot password.   On that screen was able to reset my PW and access my account balance.   Again as you can see mine is still in USD.   I then tried a transfer and the 2nd SS is what comes up.

Even after resetting PW if I go back to the normal way of logging in it still will not allow me using the new info.   So when I close the IE screen that I am using to see my balance i again will not be able to access anything.   Short of resetting the PW again.   I dunno?   If someone else knows a way short of doing this will they please post about it.

Also when I did finally gain some access a new TOS comes up dated 2-2-12.   I wonder if what has happened between the 2nd and today is going to be deducted from balance?   It gives the option to decline the new TOS but I do not know what would come up (what screen) if one were to do that.

Anyways maybe this will help someone.   Fingers crossed this posts

Yea I'm a computer retard.

In order to see your balance open the client > Help/FAQs > Site Map >  Login (Far left column)

I assume I did not have to reset PW and could of did it this way to begin with.   Anyways, hope this helps.

Hey guys,

Yes, sorry I have not been around much this week, and sorry to hear this news. Anyone wants to ship funds to me, they're more than welcome to, and we can sort out shipping back on another site or PayPal or something.

^^^   It's no longer an option   ^^^   It is my understanding that all player to player transfers have been canceled, regardless of country.

You serious right now?

Of course the site that we play at being shut down sucks, but everyone should've known that almost ANY poker site is at risk right now. Unfortunately for us, the DOJ isn't a very easy going group. Sure, we feel bad that it got shut down. But it's not like we knew about it, or could've stopped it.

You know, there is a hidden section on the forum that is only accessible by mods and admins. What we do in their is our business, but I'll let you in on a little hint: we have begun talks about possible sites to move to. We don't need to tell you our every action, because we would be here for a while if we did.

The February competition is something that Gabe is handling (and a big ty to him for doing so, btw), and Fletch is assisting in the payouts so it's at their discretion. Paying you guys out on Prodigy is obviously not an option anymore, and I don't think you guys wanna be paid in monopoly money, so we'll most likely end up paying you out on PayPal. I thought that was kinda self-explanatory. Maybe if we move to a new site by the end of February we can pay you there, but that's a big maybe.

When you speak of the Double Double competition, I assume you're referring to the fact that part of the games are now inaccessible by some of our players? Again, I kinda thought it was obvious that we will probably be putting that on hold until we can find a suitable site to have those games at.

As for the site going slowly, Fletch handles a large majority of the technical stuff on this site. I'm sure you're aware that he is a very busy man right now, and I can assure you that when he has the chance, he will try and do something about it. But for now you should not only respect all Fletch does for the site, but also respect the fact that he has a life and can't be our hero 24/7. We're obviously aware of the site going slow, and I can't even send out a newsletter today because it would literally take hours to send it all out.

I won't even address your 7th point, because I really don't think you want to get into that with me right now.

I understand you're frustrated with Prodigy being shut down, and it probably doesn't help that we can't really communicate atm because of the fourum's speed, but please don't ever come at the admin team like that again. There is only 3 of us, and each of us have our own lives and commitments that we must tend to in addition to running the site.

And please don't ever come at me with such condescending/belittling attitude.   I believe, maybe wrongly so,  that as soon as this broke someone should of been posting about some of the concerns I brought up.   It should not of taken someone asking for one of you to be posting about some of the consequences of the site shutting down.   We all can work them out for ourselves but a line of communication is always the best route, not silence, and talks about back room talks.   Who gives a shoot about what yall talk about.   Maybe during these "talks" it should of come up that we should say something in the thread about what our plans are.

Of course if you do not give a damn about the folks that frequent here/come here for information it doesn't really matter though does it?

And WTF does " I really don't think you want to get into that with me right now" supposed to mean?   Give me a fnk break.  What, you gonna hit me with the ban hammer?    Show your true colors when a person speaks their mind or asks questions that ruffle feathers?

My fkn gosh.   I suppose you believe that would be life altering, huh.   Your last post tilted me baker and I couldn't give a fk less what you think of this response.

Roger out

PS:   Thank you BNS for advising us on the news at Prodigy.

I have received a response from Darryl Barker from Prodigy. His understanding at the moment is that all funds will be in Euros, but because they are located outside of the U.S. they will still be accepting U.S. players.

I have heard that some people are having problems transferring. It appears that I still can.

Can everyone still sit down at a real money table to play atm?

Although it makes it no better I do apologizes for my outburst.

Speaking for myself, No sir.   The only way to log in to see anything ie: acct balance is through the web site.

I am certainly surprised that you are able to do transfers.   From all I have read today it was my understanding that transfers, for all countries, were stopped.

Do you log out of the client when you are through playing?   If so when you logged back in you should of gotten a new TOS agreement that you had to "agree" to before going any further in the client.   In this it states about no transfers.   I will go back and find what # it was but can't recall off the top of my head.   Maybe 44,46

you can make fake county and scribble name/numbers to play, I made new name, I now live in Canada and play from California, even though I never been to Canada in my life

At least I got 1/2 my roll to Fletch, I wasnt waiting for a response, but $200 was max transfer a day, so I lost a lot

Those that tried to send over $200 got a response that said you reached your limit but you were able to send $200 max a day

You lost me there Gabe.   You did this yesterday?   What do you mean by making a new account?   How does doing this enable you to get to your old account where the cash is?
