It's something.
http://www.pokerstrategy.com/news/world-of-poker/Tapie-Lawyer:-Positive-progress-has-been-made.-_57107/
This whole FTP-Tapie deal is really taking a toll on my nerves. We get a negative update, then a positive update, then a negative update, followed again by a positive update. I'm taking this update as a good sign. If Tapie was gonna back out, I don't think their lawyers would be releasing positive updates.
I'll retire "one time!" if this deal gets done, and we can play on FTP again. One time, Tapie!

I've seen it, barf.
I hate heights. I'm not deathly afraid of heights (I fly and love looking out windows when up high), but I am a little paranoid of falling to my death. Balconies are no place for horseplay, btw.

Meh, weak sauce. The full-harness getup already on the edge of the tower with barely a look around let alone DOWN <<< almost-entirely-free-climbing all the way up from the BOTTOM of a 1700 foot comm tower right to the very top with plenty of camera shots looking all around AND straight down

A real sports player won because they are more skilled and overall better than the other player physically and mentaly.
A card dealer randomly dealt a deck of cards and the best hand at showdown wins.
Still trying to figure out how poker is a sport.

Yea maybe have Bitar on a big pic in the background and Negreanu just kinda starring into the camera, with his mouth open, tilting his head from side to side occasionally.

Holy shoot, Howard Lederer should have been on Cribs.
Here's his house, which was, or still is (not sure) for sale. Absolutely gorgeous.

Btw, the first summer I went to Vegas during the WSOP Rick invited me to Lederer's pool party/bbq. Actually, I didn't get in touch with him until the night before I was to go home, but he said something like if I had called him sooner he would have invited me. D'oh!
I did attend his bbq/pool party at the Golden Nugget 2 summers ago. It wasn't as exclusive as his earlier bbqs, but they had a top notch spread. I think I had like 3 big plates of chicken, pork, roast beef and the tastiest rice I have ever eaten. I was there pretty early on, as I had to catch a flight, so I didn't get to enjoy any of the festivities that took place later on in the night.

http://www.pokernewsdaily.com/full-tilt-pokergroupe-bernard-tapie-deal-finalization-could-be-imminent-21389/
Basically, it says one reputable site is leaning towards a deal being done by tomorrow, and another reputable site suspects a deal won't be finalized until next week. Either way, if the deals gets done we should see them back in about a month. Article also hints that a deal may have reached between Full Tilt and the players that owe money.

you know 1 of the conditions will be that the DOJ dosent pursue any charges against any full tilt or there employees
just a guess
I think it is already. I remember reading somewhere that Howard, Chris, Andy and the other owners were safe, and only Ray and another guy could face jail time.

another article...mostly the same yada, yada, yada but I do like the 3rd from last paragraph. In reality however, how could we as players ever really know how our money is being handled.
