Poker Tracker said this 50 copy giveaway was just a test run, and that within the next 24 hours they will be giving away a lot more copies.

Edit: They said the giveaway will take place during euro-friendly hours. So if you're looking to get a copy, be on the lookout.

Transferring 1.5 million hands from PT3 is taking forever. Going to bed with only 275k hands transferred. Maybe when I wake up it'll be done.

15 hours in and I've only imported 974,400 hands. Still half a million hands to go. Maybe I'll have them imported before I go to bed tonight. Sheesh.

At about the 1,175,000 hand mark PT4 crashed. Not sure if it imported the hands or not. Doesn't support Everleaf right now (probably will soon), so I can't even tell by looking to see if I have hands on people at my table or not.

Using PT4 right now to play some cash games. Looks purdy. I like how fast the HUD is. Like, to save space I don't label my stats, so I have just a block of coloured numbers. With PT3, when I hovered over a stat, it took a while for the name of the stat to appear. With PT4, it's super fast. I also like how easy it is to view only the current session stats for a player at my table. Just started using it. I'm sure I'll find a ton more I like about it. If you guys get a chance to get the beta, do it.

I will be purchasing PT4 when my beta version expires. It's fricking badass.

Improvements from PT3:

- Omaha and Omaha8 now included (I think)
- Equity calculator and ICM programs integrated
- HUD is faster, and seems to land on the right player when it first loads
- HUD is easier to customize
- Assigning different HUDs to different sites or table types is easier
- You can configure each site (hh folder, preferred seat, etc...) without stopping the program
- The entire program is faster

Will post more improvements as I become more familiar with the program.

Thanks for the information.

Do you know what they are going to charge for this?

Not sure, Kash, but I'm guessing $90. That's what they charge for Pt3 right now, and PT3 upgrades to PT4 for free.

I may have jumped the gun about PT4 including Omaha. The beta does (I can see my Omaha sessions and peruse my stats), but that may only be for beta testing.

More improvements:

- Automatically takes notes, based on hands your opponents show down (for example, a not might say 'opponent 3-bet with QQ, AA', or 'opponent played draw on turn aggressively', or 'opponent limp/called with QTo, A7o'). Notes are located in the HUD.
- easier to replay hands using the hand replayer.
- Automatically detects aliases. No need to input them manually.

Really? Might have to switch back from HEM then. Is the PT4 beta available to PT3 users atm or is it just those that grabbed those giveaways?

Given what I've seen since Oct.,
there should be plenty left after BNS plunders his 90$ back.
[eminently doable, I hold my own HUD-less. I even let Stud Indicator expire.]

However... I haz no idea how deep Italy's degen BR's are [neither does the EC LOLOL].
I spose u guyz [I can't, sobsobsniffsniff ] could try it on Stars
to see how well PT4 nits up.

The notes alone are worth having this then.

It's still Bodog to everyone but US players. It's Bodava to US players.

I cashed out my tiny roll on Bodog. I like the new software, but not being able to track my opponents (by taking notes on them, or even just remembering their screen name or avatar pic) is just stupid. Would be funny if PT4 did work with Bodog. Thousands of players in my database with no names, just numbers. And not unique numbers, either. 1, 2, 3-9.
