Any thoughts on how I could/should have played this hand differently? I am not saying how it went down, I am asking how some of you would have played this.

I was <20 hands at the tbl. and had no info. other than this session.   CO is Italian and was playing >50%vpip...and loves being the aggressor. This may have been the first hand I had played.

Is my raise here what would be called a min raise?
If it is,how many bb, at this point in the hand, would it take to not be a min raise?

Yes,this is how much I know about NL.

Your 3bb PFR is pretty standard. You can raise maybe to 4bb PF, but 3 is generally the accepted number.

With this hand, we should honestly either bet/fold the flop or check/call the flop, planning to reevaulate OTT.

Once the turn comes and he throws out that second bet, we've gotta get out of the hand. Donks are donks, but donks know to slow down if an A is on the board and they don't have one. And if they do, which is pretty likely, they'll just bet-bet-bet like they always do.

Honestly though, this line wreaks of passivity, which is the last thing we want to be doing at these levels. Sure, you got the most out of medium pairs and any pair that isn't an A, but dont you think those would have slowed down before the river?

^ Yeah that pretty much.

bet/fold the flop. Give up on the turn. Check calling 3 streets guarantees you of losing the most and winning the least.

The only thing I would change from snapz's response is the spelling of "reeks."
