Yesterday marked the one year anniversary of the entry of the first members of sixandfourum.  Since then, a lot has happened; heck, a lot has happened in the last 2 weeks.  Over the year, we've grown as a site in some ways, and fallen short of expectation in others.  But the most important thing by far is that right now we have a really good site to hang in; and that's all that ever really mattered.  I wish there were more of us, or that we could do more for the members; but what we do have is a solid base and plenty of potential for growth. 

In the past year, I've seen in particular that I have shortcomings as an administrator that I rely on others to fulfill.  I have a lot of great people that help me to do so, and yet we could use some more with particular talents to help grow the site.  But Rome was not built in a day, and this site shall be no different.  I am very pleased overall with what we all have created here, and I have no doubt that it will continue to improve.  I hope that we can continue to make this site live up to each of our expectations.
