I got back into the forum and here is a post of how others have done it:

Yeah just change the .com to .co.uk.

https://pokerforums.fulltiltpoker.co.uk/login.php

Go there, then find the form with the https://pokerforums.fulltiltpoker.co.uk/login.php address and replace with .co.uk, log in and you'll be redirected to http://pokerforums.fulltiltpoker.com/index.php?sid=your_session_id.

Replace that with http://pokerforums.fulltiltpoker.co.uk/index.php?.... don't forget the session id, and here you are.
Basically this should be done by Full Tilt Support.


I logged in somehow. Not sure how. Through a lot of trial and error and messing with this stuff. Can someone explain the above method in really simple terms to me? I couldn't figure it out.


1.You go to your login page at pokerforums.fulltiltpoker.co.uk
2.You type in your username and password.
3.Then you right click anywhere on the login page and click inspect element.
4. Search for pokerforums.fulltiltpoker.com/login.php in the search element thing.
5. Change the .com parts of those to .co.uk
6.You'll be redirected to http://pokerforums.fulltiltpoker.com/index.php?sid=your_session_id.
7. Switch that URL to pokerforums.fulltiltpoker.co.uk/login/php?
8. You're in.

Thanks for posting Gyps. I was going to copy and paste it myself but I can't get it to work for me. I don't get a Session ID for me to use, it just times out.

for some reason I finally today got an actual "login/password" field, but still no way of grabbing my SessionID, so couldn't get to the final step of actually submitting it



EDIT: aha! I realize now why you said "INSPECT ELEMENT".

You need to have a browser like Chrome of Firefox with the FIREBUG (or Firebug Lite) addon installed and running. Once you "find" the <form ...> element and change the ".com" to ".co.uk" the submit button will actually work, giving you a ?sid=99b90094a2c9987865f23f76a2968516 type of part of the URL, now just change that final ".com" to "co.uk" and BOOM you are IN!

If you guys are all patient, I will throw together some Javascript that should make it easier to do (i.e. won't require Firebug).

Will update THIS post with the steps including which pieces of Javascript to paste in to your web browser's address bar.

1. paste this into the web browser address bar, then click enter...

2. fill in your FTP login and password

3. paste this into the web browser address bar, then click enter...
 javascript:document.forms[0].action="https://pokerforums.fulltiltpoker.co.uk/login.php"; document.forms[0]["autologin"].checked=true; void(document.forms[0]["login"].click());

4. GOOD NEWS! copying over the "SessionID" is *not* needed! just close your browser and try again, go to pokerforums.fulltiltpoker.co.uk <-- and you will see that you are currently still logged in!

This works in Safari too.  But note this:

After you click "enter" in step 3, you'll get an error page saying that Safari cannot find the server .....com.  Looks like it failed. 

Wrong... Ignore that error page.  Just put pokerforums.fulltiltpoker.co.uk in the address bar, click enter, and you will get the Forum Index page, and this time you are logged in.

Yes, forgot to mention... easiest thing is to just CLOSE YOUR BROWSER WINDOW after step 3 -- then there's no chance of wonky cached domain stuff, you go to the forum index page ( http://pokerforums.fulltiltpoker.co.uk/ ) and you'll see you are now Logged In.

works on Firefox too.  But like safari, it says it can't find the server on the next page after step 3.  But once you close the browser and open it again, you're in with your auto-login saved.  So don't think it didn't work until you've re-opened the browser, guys.  Thanks, D4D!

Just once, since the "stay logged in" checkbox will be auto-selected for you.

all the code does is...

#1. gets you to the "https://" login page @ co.uk instead of .com (i.e. instead of you manually changing the URL)

#3. changes the form's "action" to be the ".co.uk" instead of ".com", and auto-selects "stay logged in", and auto-clicks the Submit button for you

nothing is sent anywhere else, the code is right in front of you... panic not, folks.

and notice the BONUS -- no session id required, if you are getting weird 404 errors after the final step, just close your browser window and relaunch it, go to http://pokerforums.fulltiltpoker.co.uk/ and you should see that you are now "logged in".

And I know this is obvious to most, but remember that your old bookmarks in your browser will not work.  You'll have to re-bookmark the forum when you get in again and toss out the old bookmark, as it will always direct to the .com addy.

Change the bookmark to http://pokerforums.fulltiltpoker.co.uk/ ... but be aware that sometimes after you close all your browser windows, the "session" seems to go bye-bye, so you might have to visit  https://pokerforums.fulltiltpoker.co.uk/  to get back in.
