This thread is for the formula on which the members are qualified by merit for their share of the site proceeds placed into the profit sharing pool.

At a quarterly interval, the Global Mods and Admins will review the participation and quality of contribution of all the members and board mods, and rate the overall quality of their forum participation and content.  This will be a simple 1 to 5 rating, with one being the lowest and 5 being the highest, in half-point intervals.  If a member has not maintained a minimum of .15 posts/day in the forum and/or has not been signed up for at least 2 full months of the 3, he/she will not be reviewed and will therefore be ineligible.  The average score will be doubled, and added to the member's post count/day (up to a maximum of 5, and also rounded to the nearest tenth) over the interval, and divided by 3 and rounded to the nearest tenth point for their total score.

example:  the mods and admins average rating is 3.5 and you've posted 4.18 posts/day.  (3.5 x 2) + 4.2 =11.2.  divide that by 3 and your final score (again rounded to the tenth) is 3.7.

Board Moderators will recieve a full point bonus on their rating for their final score.  Global Mods and Admins are exempt from rating and will recieve an automatic score of 7 for GMs and 10 for admins.

Now a little common sense:  Yes, by this system it behooves you somewhat to post more.  But remember, the greater portion of this rating is derived by the quality, not the quantity, of your posting.  So if you post nothing but garbage, 3 word posts, or  Huh? :Smiley Tongue, it will lower your quality score more than it will raise your posting score.  So post thoughtfully, not just to make a buck.
