It is now a child board of HA&V.
I suggest getting rid of the child board and just leaving the posts in the one board. Placing child boards inside other boards isn't actually eliminating any of them.

But, hack that I am, I ended up deleting most of the old stuff thinking it could be moved when I deleted the board.
Noob.

Okay, now Rail requests is completely moved into HA&V, and the board deleted. Good call, sir.

Quoting JB's post and making adjustments whilst talking in Skype and pointing out where all the posts come from.

4. How about a sports ticker, either on the front page or perhaps at least in the sports board? And if Fletchy feels like working his magic, perhaps we could have it as a feature we could turn on and off as we liked.

4. Being a foreigner, this doesn't interest me much, but it would easy enough to add to the home page. Not sure about placing it on a specific board like Sport, though that does sound like a more useful placing for it. I'm sure I could get it working eventually.
Seems like eventually is here. Have added the score card from MSNBC to the Sports Board, which is currently showing NHL, NBA & MLB. It replaces the Top Banner Ad in that board. Is this the sort of thing you're looking for (meaning scores instead of just Sports News). Now that I've localised it to that board, it's easy enough to throw whatever you want there.

Looks good to me, but I'm not opposed to someone doing a little shopping if they think there's a better one out there. Kinda mobbed at home and with the reorg, so I won't get to it in the next couple of days. If someone finds a better one, feel free to post about it in here.

And I was just wondering ... would you like the Sports Ticker on the Sports Betting & Other Gambling board as well?

Time for a reset.
We've covered most of the original suggestions, save for the possible addition of some poker tools. Obviously, we are very open to ideas, particularly widgets we could install right in the forum to use. So feel free to give any ideas or leads you come across ITT.
In addition, I'd like to touch on some other ideas I've heard since.
1. The pages of the Fourum are scalable; i.e. when you shrink or expand the window, the contents of the page shrink to match. Now I'm not sure if that's correctable with the current software, or even if it's something you guys would want to see. So I guess I'll ask the IT department if that's feasible (hey, Fletch, can we do that?), and then ask the rest of you if we even want to.
2. With PS and FTP going down for US players, we no longer have Mucking Monkeys games. It's been suggested we have some forum games put up, and I'd like to figure out how we can get these going again, either on a new site (Carbon and Prodigy come to mind) or through the PS play money home games feature, as Fletch has already suggested to ribbybruno in the Mucking Monkeys section. There was some discussion on the PS games elsewhere, but it seems to have stalled. But this is something I think we need; to get back playing together again in some fashion and to get our poker lives back closer to normal.
3. I know several of you have regular blogs you'd like to promote. You can use the signature feature to add a link to them on your posts. Does anyone think perhaps we should have something further; perhaps a section where members can post blog links or even start them?

Not sure what you mean by scalable here, chief. The word wrap changes when you change the browser size, but that's it. If you're saying you'd like it to be scalable, I really don't think that's possible.

Yeah, let's do some of this. Ribby really needs to get Mucking Monkeys going again, I believe, and reinstating that schedule as Play Chip games. Unless they are still running for Non U.S. kids and he wants to do something different.
We should definitely be doing some more games of our own as so many of our number don't have access to a regular game. I don't know if we want to just use one of our created clubs (like The Baker Brothel) and encourage the sign ups there AS WELL AS Mucking Monkeys, or whether they should all just be combined under one club. Maybe Ribby wants to keep them separate. Maybe people don't have a problem joining a couple of different clubs. I'm thinking a Poll of game types and days/times to play is in order.

Anyone that wants to advertise their blogs, etc can certainly make a post in Hot Air and bump it for new content.

I do like the idea of PS Home Games or Carbon to be able to have a Sunday game at least. The Mucking Monkeys tournaments,I am sure are still on FTP(but not for long after a few voids). These games will have to be reset up if US players are allowed to play again. A poll is the way to go to see what kind of participation we will have on PS or Carbon. Letting all play is my choice and not to exclude anyone out who may want to play.

I think it's important to keep the Mucking Monkeys games going somehow, so that if US players ever do get real money back, the force will still be strong. I'm considering putting some of my BR into Carbon Poker, so if I do I'll let you guys know how I like it. And like Fletch mentioned, we could always use one of the PokerStars home games we already have setup. I think my group (The Baker Brothel) and another group I can't remember have the most members in them, so it would be best to use one of those. I don't mind setting up weekly play chip tournaments for those interested.

I think it would be a cool feature to have a blogging area of the website because I know a few members (like Kash) like to blog, but I don't know that we necessarily have a huge demand for this right now.

Well I vote that we fire your group up and make it the official fourum group. Just make another member or two admin so that they can schedule games if you're away or what ever.
And let's fire up a game this week-end.
The new kids can find the sign up information at
http://www.sixandfourum.com/index.php/topic,1548.0.html
for The Baker Brothel information. Fire up the PokerStars client. Click on Home Games and Join a Poker Club.

Fletch and ribby are now admins in my group. I setup a game for this Sunday at 2pm EST. It's no limit hold em, buy-in is 100+9 play chips, and top 15% get paid.
If the game time is a conflict for anyone, let me know and I'll change it.

I set one up too! Bananarama Open starting May 8th @ 1400 EST.
Same buy in as you $100 play chips + $25 knockout.
I did see your tournament listed at 02:20 ET(if this is military time it would be 2:20 in the AM starting time).
