The last few days, I've been having trouble loading this website, and each screen change takes about 60 seconds to load.  Then there's incomplete information once it loads.  For instance, the thread about Everleaf closing to Americans shows 30+ replies, but I can only see 2 posts on each of the 2 pages.  It's nothing on my end because every other one of my regular sites I visit on a daily basis are up and running instantly.

Yeah something's going on. We're not sure what. Will be contacting the hosts to see if they can shed any light on it. I am going through turning things off to see if it improves performance so counters etc will be disappearing.

This is the only thread I can get to open for me.   Anything else I click on takes me to what the SS shows.   It has been running real slow the last few days but this just started within the last few hours afaik.

Very,very,very slooooooooooow.


On top of that this is the only section I can click on.   Anywhere else I have tried to open,  ie: Intro yourself, News, Off topic discussions, Education, PokerGame FR....If I click on any of those what comes up is what I posted above here in that screen shot.

Nah, that was a good show.   King of Queens was also.   Watching the vid u posted awhile back was funny.   Why are there now shows like these any more?

Yes dir, I watch in the mornings for like a hour or so, We dont have any seasons recorded

We have every season of Everybody Loves Raymond, The King of Queens, Two And A Half Men and Married with Children and outta these 4
We watch Two and A Half Men the most and like every day for hours since theres nothing but krap on TV anymore

it seems that if you go DIRECT to a thread via a saved URL, or the "most recently modified thread" link on the main page, you're in just fine. Otherwise it's like you've opened a door to an empty vault. WHERE DID ALL THE VALUABLES GO? :mysterious: (I just watched the bank-robbery episode of Alcatraz, hence the vault theme )

yeah, it's messed up on the server side, it might be the database or code got tweaked or updated or corrupted, GL admins! Always love squashing bugs, unless it's inside somebody else's code!

I was expecting you to just say "oh, that's what is causing the problems" and then do nothing, take a nap, go to a movie, watch some Youtube, take a nap, shoot some pool, then promptly forget about the forum problems entirely.

Unfortunately, I don't have a pool table. And I only got to take 1 nap today, but everything else was right (except it was episode of Lost, not a movie).

All advertising and banners have been stripped from the fourum. This appears to have fixed the speed issue. I have no idea why it should suddenly have caused an issue after using it all this time, but there it is.

Now we just need to get all the Topics/Posts to show up ...

Okay, posting in every board has gotten all the old posts to show up. It still doesn't count them in the Board Index, but at least they're there when you go looking for them. Will continue to investigate tomorrow.

And just like that I found the doo hickey to recount all fourum posts. If only I could have found that before creating those wacky posts in every board.

Was going to go through and delete all those posts, but I think I'll leave them there for a day or two, as it's possible I said something important/useful/entertaining in some of them.

I have ran across something Fletch.   I was trying to post a link and had to edit several times.   After 4-5 times the edit btn disappeared as a option.   Quote and Reply was still there but Edit was gone.


I then replied to myself to explain that the link was not working properly and that post did have the edit option back but none of my other posts in the thread had any options but Reply and Quote.


I figured out that the link I was having probs with was actually working right, so I deleted the last post.


My explanation is confusing,   I know.

Yea seems something like that.   Definitely no more unlimited edits.   Also the Delete post option is gone.
