I've been kicking this around in my head a while, but never got around to posting it till now.

I thought it would be nice to recognize all our members here by starting a daily rotation where they each can put their name (or the name of their choice) on the forum's header.  You probably have noted that I've been changing them on a regular basis anyhow, and it would be just as easy to do so with anyone's name as with the site name.  Obviously, it wouldn't change the address of the site, just the header, so you will still find it just as ever on your bookmarks or favorites.

So, feel free to post any pros or cons you see in trying this, and vote.  The poll is up for 10 days, and you can change your vote after the fact if you change your mind.

Maybe the changes would confuse new people. Granted the address would indeed be the same. But, maybe others would find it fun. It's not my thing. -- So I vote no.

But the horse votes yes -- so my vote is a push.

I honestly have no real yearn to name the forum for a day a week or a month. How about a second?  Woot! I win. All right, new name...."Daddy's House". Okay, time's up. Back to 6n4.

One of the things I think that keeps me coming in on a daily basis to see the new posts is the really cool header designs Six sticks up there; Soooooo. I say keep that thing going, whatever you wanna call it.

I think it might be fun if people earn naming rights, through the various games you run, posts of the month, etc. Would certainly add to the fourum of the people, by the people vibe.

I like the idea, but there's just as much bad sentiment as good.  If some people want to pipe up about this again, I'm happy to revisit it.
