Hi everyone - I've been playing the football season at Sportsbook for Years, now.  and haven't done too shabby. BRM and just plain not going crazy when you don't win a week or two is the winning route.  Here are my Week 2 picks I placed Wednesday nite - the odds will change between now and then so will take a look again and see where I gained or lost by placing them early like that.

So I made 2 5$ bets. the second is contingent on the first winning also - so all or nothing for me this week (usually is, but I rarely place more than one 5$ bet a week anyway).

The first 5$ bet is a 4-way parlay that'll win $69.71 - and then I placed 5 more Dollars to make it go two more ways (so another 5$ 6-way) - that will (WILL I say!!) pay $267.31.

below is my ticket.

Good luck RossDaddy!! Woot!!

Best of luck, sir.  That Skins/Texans one scares me a bit, but I like the rest.

thanks - I was beat (to me) by the packers game i was watching since it came up shorton the over under. which beat me on both bets....

------------------

Got beat again this week - so ain't gonna post that - but a really cool bonus was that if you make a ten dollar bet on the superbowl, and the Saints happen to do it again, then ALL losing bets bowl bets made this weekend are refunded.

So I took a ten dollar on the texans (Who were absolutely abysmal, this weekend), and my wife place d one on the colts (not a bad call, imo).

parlays are pretty tough to win--am wondering if you've done the math on them, usually doesn't turn out too well.

but good luck with yours!!

I've been pretty lucky - I play five bucks a week maybe more than one if I feel good, and usually pick one or two up a season. that usually takes me baack over a hundo or so - and that's all i need.

Looking forward to the rest of the season.

Glad to see everyone was on the Falcons, at last some believers---waiting for the Pack on Thanksgiving weekend.

And how 'bout them Lions--at last it looks like they're building a respectable team.  Hope Stafford can heal.

Nice - I'm seeing some hope in them lions, too.

Good luck with the parlay! Navy might run over Army imo in your straight up wager.

I think you're right - Navy a much better team bottom line.

But I gotta go with allegiance on this one - still early tons of serious injuries can still play into my favor. loool. Not that I'd really wish serious injury on anyone, haha.

Just sent my kid off to army training in Texas before shipping off to Iraq for Operation:New Beginning.

So, Go Army! "uhhhhhh!"
