Thanks you everyone!  Once I start there in August I will only be taking classes related to my major, so I am very excited to get focused in on it, and I'm definitely excited for the experience.

@Six - You should do what my dad is doing. He called me up and told me he had a perfect bracket so far, and I asked him how, and he told me he was doing it in pencil.

What is. "inverse trigonometric functions"  Huh? Huh?.
Too lazy to google it. Im allready here.

The inverse trigonometric functions are the inverse functions of the trigonometric function?

The inverse trigonometric functions are the inverse functions of the trigonometric function?

Trigonometric functions are functions like sin, cos, tan, etc. The inverse function, of sin for example, would be sin-1.

Correct, but potentially confusing since superscripts commonly denote exponentiation.  Read "sin(inverse)" not "Sin(to the -1 power)"   Wink

@Kiwi ... an inverse function is a function that "undoes" another function.  Explained here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Inverse_function

And for Inverse trig functions, this should help make it clear as mud: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Inverse_trigonometric_functions

Would you prefer I write them as arcsin?

No,No,No.   I read that as trips when in fact you have a set of aces.   Geez... Where's my red ink pen.

ps: @ what point in life will you use a inverse trig function?   Will a eraser not do the same thing?

3 Aces can also be a set so im right. If I said trips I would be wrong.
They probably use inverse trig functins for civil engineering or engineering design, something like that.
