Villain has check raised once in 8 times, and has a fold to C-bet of 20%. It's also the money bubble if we think that influences his bluff percentage.

I think your options are to fold or push all-in.   Calling puts half your stack in the pot, so I hate that.  I'm putting him on two overs and a flush draw, so statistically I think you're behind.  I think I fold the 88 in this spot rather than risk my tournament life.

Barring reads, EZ fold this deep, especially since villain is also deep.  It is as Casa said a clear shove/fold, and few scenarios in his range are all that good for you.

I'd say the same as Six and Casa, fold.

I hate the C-bet size here, and as someone who almost always sticks with regularly incremented bet sizes, I think you got a bit fancy with the sizing anyways.  A raise to 1800 preflop and a C-bet of 3600 would have achieved the same goals as 1999 and 2222 were intended to achieve, and without any suspicions either.  As played, just fold.

Have to agree with Advent here.
