Simple question.  Assume you and Villain are HU with 10 blinds each.  Villain has shoved from the small blind. What is your calling range?

Simple question but no simple answer.  It depends.

What do you know about villain?  How long have you been playing heads up?  How often has villain shoved?

Kash

got to go with Kash--depends how the Villain is playing, but will definitely call with

8-8+
A-10+

if they are shoving every SB, will call with

A-x
any two paint
Any pair

Readless, I call with pretty much the same range as Woody (toss in KQ).

Depending on villain's aggro, though, I could widen that range to:
Ax
KT+
QJ
all pairs

Again, I want to crush my opponent at short-stack play, and although this situation changes significantly as my stack dwindles from 9.5BB's behind to 8BB"s behind next orbit, I'm gonna say top 40% of holdings (Ax, K4+) and any pair.
