LIVE TOURNEY

I played live twice this week at a local bar. I live in North Carolina and there are no casinos so the bar is the best we can do or home games. I busted early on Tuesday night, but made final table on Wednesday night. Just got points for seventh place, but no money. Top three get paid. My daughter lasted til fifth place, still no money.

The End: I was the dealer with AQ suited and only had about 6 BB's. Dude beside me, some kid that looked to young to be there, limps with KK. OMG, he had been doing it all night. He limped twice with Aces and Twice with Queens, now the KK. Well short story I got KO'd. LOL. Will maybe try again next week. The points lead to a bigger tourney in about four months, then a final tourney for the champs of the three final tables during the bigger tourney.

Just felt good to get out of the house. X

Once upon a time we had a game going at the bowling alley in town, much like yours. Had a season points count and a final for the players there, who went on to a regional tourney. Was a lot of fun and actually what got my fiancee seriously into poker as well. Sadly, the economy killed that, and is doing a number on the alley itself.

Have fun with it... I rarely have half the fun at real games as I did every week at those.
